Crystals, like people, have their own unique energy and when choosing a crystal to work with we need to take into consideration many factors involving the whole wellbeing of a person and their energy field. Crystal healing should ideally be carried out by a fully trained professional crystal healer.

What is Crystal Healing ?
Crystals have been used for thousands of years by indigenous peoples around the world for their healing properties. Crystal healing, like aromatherapy and homeopathy is a vibrational medicine. All crystals have a specific vibrational rate. Like us, they have an electro-magnetic field, an aura, and this energy vibrates or resonates at a certain frequency. We too are made up of energy.
Our aura has many layers to it and we have at least 7 energy centres (or chakras) running down the centre of our head and body. These subtle energies are constantly changing and when we become stressed and traumatised they become unbalanced which eventually leads to a physical, mental or emotional sense of dis-ease. When we introduce crystals to our energy centres and aura, some of their energy is exchanged with our energy, blocks are released and healing begins to take place, rebalancing the body and its functions on all levels.
Gifts from Mother Earth, crystals are in fact, incredibly powerful and need to be treated and used with great respect.
